Early departure from Marrakech towards the Atlas Mountains. Visit the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Lunch in Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the desert. Continue to Dades Gorge, where you will spend the night in a comfortable 4-star hotel. Embark on your journey from Marrakech, crossing the Tichka Pass at an altitude of 2260m. Visit the renowned Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah and have lunch in Ouarzazate, where you will also have the opportunity to explore the cinema museum and the Kasbah, if time allows. Continuing on, you will traverse the magnificent Skoura oasis, Kalaat M'gouna, and the Valley of Roses, reaching the Dades Gorges where you will spend the night at a hotel with half-board accommodation.
After breakfast, journey through the stunning Todra Gorge. Arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon and embark on a camel trek at sunset. Enjoy a traditional Berber dinner and spend the night in a luxury desert camp. Depart in the morning for a further journey into the desert towards Merzouga. Along the way, you will visit the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, Tinghir, Todra Gorges, Erfoud, Rissani, and the breathtaking Tifilalte oasis, finally arriving at Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. Enjoy a camel ride to admire the sunset and then join the bivouac camp where you will spend the night under a clear, star-filled sky. Dinner will be provided on-site.
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the Sahara dunes. Have a traditional Berber breakfast before starting your journey back to Marrakech. Travel through the scenic High Atlas Mountains, with arrival in Marrakech in the late afternoon. At dawn, marvel at the sunrise and enjoy your breakfast. Depart for Marrakech via Erfoud and Ouarzazate, where you will have lunch. Return to Marrakech around 8:00 PM, concluding your Merzouga excursion from Marrakech.
